How app updates work

Automatic. Playground Space only stores a link. When you redeploy an app to the same address, opening it from here gives you the new version straight away — nothing to update here.

Manual. If a redeploy produces a different address (for example a brand-new Google Apps Script deployment instead of editing the existing one), open Edit → the app → App link, paste the new URL and save.

This launcher refreshes on its own each time you open it online. Use Check for updates to force it.
